"I am completely disillusioned with the Republican party," Kate O'Leary tells CNN's John King. "I can't even look at any of them, and feel anything but disgust...

At one point, she even channels the late Jackie Gleason, when commenting on how the GOP responds with an alternative to President Obama's policies: "They're like 'homina, homina, homina'... they've got nothing!"

Can we NOT do this?? We need to address the Repub messages on the merits, not with someone who obviously doesn't pay attention at all. Repubs have reasons for opposition.......that is our way to win. Don't get complacent because we are in a good position !!! The next election is not that far away. Please keep on our game.

He had to reach out as not a lot of people (apart from the active folks) took much notice of government for so many years so he had to show honor to the other party for this new participation of voters he did what was right and people see the GOP for who they are. I mean example it was stated folks previously TV viewers watched entertainment tv over political shows and with Oprah following Obama it got way more peoples attention. It's all been said about the Idol generation well now the RTV fans now see it don't get more reality tv than congress.

EnoughOfThis actually did make a good point, even though it may not have been worded to everyone's liking. Even though the Greedy Obstructionist Party is in disarray now we can't count on them staying like that forever. At some point there will likely emerge a Greedy Obstructionist Party leader who is articulate and knows how to package their lies to play to the masses. Even though I'm certain that President Obama and his team will do a good job of getting our economy going again, at some point in the future it will falter, or there will be a high level scandal, something will happen to give them enough ammunition for their lie machine to sneak back into power.

Don't get complacent. Keep writing letters to the editor calling out repuke lies. Keep pressure on our representatives to support progressive agenda. Keep letting our friends know how f'd up our current health care system is.
