Not quite on topic, but gives a similar scope to the relativity of problems.

I am white. I am ashamed to be white; not because of some bitter african american on a white-guilt bender, but because of other white people like THIS. I'd expect something like this out of redneck KKK weekly but THE WALL STREET JOURNAL????? ARE-YOU-FUCKING-KIDDING-ME.

He can't be as dense as he comes off as. I think he just tries too hard to give cutting edge analysis that he ends up saying and writing about the dumbest things. Plus he buys into every right-wing and conventional wisdom talking point out there. I think he looks at it and tries to put his special "Mark Halperin spin" on it and out comes some knuckleheaded thing that leaves everybody scratching their heads. He must be a hard working guy but he has no analytical skills at all. I remember when he said that McCain not knowing how many houses he owned would come back and hurt Obama. WTF? He said it on the This Week roundtable and George Steph just looked at him like an alien flew out of his skull. He can't be as dumb as he seems sometimes though, he wouldn't have been able to function in life if that was true.

I have seen people barely able to find their way to work managing places.

Unfortunately it isn't what you know in many cases, it is who you know, despite the intellectual prowess and experience of the applicant. Not that I am knocking them, as I have owned and intend to own a family business again, but that tends to happen in situations like that. Not that it is limited to those situations. Far from it.

I have had some astoundingly stupid bosses.
