1. Ah yes a time when there really was freedom.
Before the corporate world stoled the culture.

3. My favorite musical although the Movie version...
I am hoping to see it on Broadway this year. I have loved that movie since it came out when I was a little kid. I think I may have been 10 when I first watched it. This song is not in it. Thanks for posting.

4. The movie absolutely sucked compared to the
original, they pretty much ruined it. A lot of songs from the original didn't make it into the movie, and the whole sense of freedom, of joie de vie, was totally absent from the movie. They were too afraid of offending too many people and it was far too restrained and "middle class", very much unlike the original.

Do yourself a favor and go buy and listen to the original Broadway soundtrack.

6. You may be right, but...
It is ingrained in my identity. It came out when I was probably 7. And is one of the things I credit for the ideals I have today. So, I shall listen to the original but I fear it will not have the same impact as the movie has. Plus, I had a HUGE crush on Treat Williams.:loveya:

7. Ahhh, now on that we can certainly agree;
that is definitely an actor well-named, lol! Whatever happened to him, he was everywhere and then has just seemed to disappear?
