Video shows Savage and his wife verbally assaulting a camera crew who was filming the police doing their jobs.

Calls them communists, vermin, tells them "leave the police alone", tells the cop, "we're on your side."

Cop says thanks, but also says "they're not bothering us" and eventually tells the Savages to move along.

It turns out that the camera crew was with the police, they were doing a documentary ("COPS" or something like that) on the police and the police were cooperating with them.

Then he lies about it on the radio.

3. every time he looks at his wife
and every time she looks at him. If I were either of them I'd hate human beings too.

4. I thought police usually just said...
"Move along. This is not your business." Aside from the hyperbole Savage gave on the later version for his own self-gratification, he is a person who renders ugliness. A fountain from within.

5. I'm thinking Savage was lucky the camera was there
or maybe the SF cops are different from the ones I've seen, or those cops were particularly mellow, but I've never seen cops deal with that kind of behavior that patiently, especially when they're in the middle of something. I suspect the way they would normally deal with it wouldn't look good on camera, fortunately for Savage.

Notice that the guys they were dealing with tried to get away while the cops were dealing with Savage.

6. A film crew from the popular Fox show "Cops" on a routine ride-around
From HuffPo:

...When hate-talk radio's Michael Savage urinated on beloved San Francisco newspaper columnist Herb Caen's grave during Caen's 1997 funeral, it was obvious that right-wing talk radio had reached the bottom of the barrel. Sadly, it's remained there.

I was alerted to this vile stunt by one of my newspaper readers in the Bay Area. I quickly turned on the radio and tuned back and forth between Caen's memorial service, which was being broadcast live to tens of thousands, and "The Savage Weenie" using restroom sound effects to electronically simulate relieving himself. When I called the radio exec in charge of the major station that aired Savage's bile-a-thon to complain, he shrugged it off.

--A film crew from the popular Fox show "Cops" was on a routine ride-around with two San Francisco policemen. The SFPD officers are questioning two homeless men for apparently using a doorway for a public convenience.

7. Cenk Uygar once did a video talking about a fictional biography Savage wrote in the 80s
I don't know where the video is but basically it was a biography of a guy who matched Savage's description and personality, but who was secretly gay and full of hatred towards himself and everyone else.

It would be a shame if Savage is a repressed gay person, but I wouldn't be surprised. I think it is called projection. Deny you have a trait because you can't handle the pain it would cause, project it outwards onto others and act like a psychopath towards anyone who you think has it.

Anyway, I'm not knocking gay people by any means, but I wouldn't be surprised if Savage's irrational hatred (anyone with a PhD from Berkeley who rails against the Mexican homosexual mafia is pretty fucked up inside to pull off that kind of dichotomy) is tied into him possibly being a repressed gay person.
