I think he pissed her off with his first comment. I wouldn't do that. She's probably planning more right now, and she's as smart and witty as Gibbs.

6. What?
She was uninformed because the Pentagon did issue a retraction to the earlier statement.

I liked her questions, but she certainly didn't 'fuck him up'.

10. I think she twisted him into knots by
asking about Truman and desegregation. He should have just plainly stated that he would have to look at that issue ASAP in order to make sure he got his facts straight. He should have said that he didn't want to muddle the issue any further until he had looked at that action again. Gibbs hemmed and hawed.

2. I think a daily question on this issue may move it forward - go Ana Marie Cox

Fri - Has the President considered a temporary stop-loss order to put a hold on involuntary discharges due to the importance of our national war effort?

M - Can you tell me who the point person is who is speaking with the President's Office on the DADT policy?
T - Has the President's Office had any conversations regarding the status of the two officers currently being removed from their positions in the military?
W - Is a report in the works to example the successes/failures of the DADT policy both in the U.S. and other countries which have not instituted such a policy?
T - Can you provide a rough time frame on which the DADT policy could move forward given the current legislative schedule and your other critical issues?
F - Is muzzling members of the military through the DADT policy a means in fact to not provide service member's legitimate spouses with health care or benefits?

M - Illegal aliens found in military service are provided a chance for citizenship and service, does the President consider U.S. citizens are getting a less fair shake than non-U.S. citizens in this particular case - and is he concerned enough to address this issue in some other way within DADT parameters?
T - As it has been said that medical marijuana cases in states will not be the subject of federal investigations any longer, can this provide guidance on a similar policy on DADT?
W - The current policy is called Don't Ask, Don't Tell - would the President be willing to add 'Don't Pursue' until after these critical wars are completed?
T - Has General Shinseki provided his opinion within the DADT policy and what is his view on the current policy?
F - Does the President, as Commander in Chief of our military have the strength to order the change in policy - even if just for a year? Is he open to that?

etc...

(sorry, I know listing this is a bit over the top, but figure maybe someone will search the internet on 'ideas or questions to ask Obama Press Secretary Gibbs about Don't Ask Don't Tell' and this will come up and they will have some ideas to consider.)

4. She'd better get a lot more succinct in future. Three questions at once is a little hoggy.

11. She was the Ur-Wonkette.
:D I did see that she retired from the site. She started it though, so I was thinking of her as THE Wonkette. Someone in GDP just called her "some annoying woman" (paraphrasing) last night.

15. Heh, she's hardly some annoying woman. The Original Wonkette. Regular on Rachel Maddow. I believe
she works for The Daily Beast now and blogged for NYT and Time Magazine (maybe not anymore).

13. Good job by Ana Marie!
Now Rachel needs to find yet another platinum example of the STUPIDITY of discharging highly qualified people to spotlight.

Drip, drip, drip.
