None of which the government ever had as cash on hand.
So, figure the interest too to get to the truth!
And then, add in all future interest.
And then, find a TRILLION to pay the debt .....

Then add in all the cost of supporting the injured
and the survivors of the deceased for many decades,

How many TRILLION at the end of the accounting?

For what? A million dead per idiot shoe bomber?

1. Full Cost Is Several Trillion
Edited on Sat May-23-09 07:07 AM by MannyGoldstein
Someone at Harvard did a study 2-3 years ago, and found that if *all* costs are included (lifetime medical care and disability pay for the injured, used-up inventory that needs to be replaced, etc), the cost was already $2 Trillion back then.

It's fucking nuts.

But We The Sheeple say: b-a-a-a-h.

4. Never question the Holy US Military Industrial Complex
one wonders what the cost of running our over 700 bases in 134 countries is every year-and WHY we even still have them? If we want to "find" the money for Universal Health care, Social Security and a new clean green energy grid it's right there; it just requires a reshuffling of our priorities. We could try truly protecting the lives and welfare of the American people, or we could just maintain the status quo of killing and spending for the profit of a few.

2. It may be costing US, but it's making a lot of people rich.
And that's the whole idea. Therefore, it's a huge hit.
