un advocates rallied this week in support of their right to bear arms, the Pope has said that his church has sinned, Goldman Sachs is giving out bonuses in the throes of SEC charges, and laptops are taking pictures of kids while they sleep! This may sound like a vision of the end times, but really it's just another week in the news these days.

It gives the governor of a state the right to raise militias under the command of the commander in chief to defend the United States against foreign invaders.

3. No part of the Bill of Rights "gives" you _anything_.

It's not a "the people can" document, it's a "the government can't" document.

You might want to take up your interpretation of what the second amendment protects with 'the people' (you know, those people whose right is protected therein.)
