3. Wow, she is a brave woman to keep speaking out about
this while living with death threats herself. I rarely watch CNN at night, so thanks for posting this.

4. *yawn*
It was a lame episode (watched it while waiting for 'Ugly Americans' to come on), and an obvious bid to stir up controversy/publicity.

5. Uh oh ...
I haven't looked-up when the depictions of __________ became taboo, but one assumes there have been pictures of said religious figure or how would anyone know if the picture was correct? I mean, can you draw a stick figure and write, "Muhammad" and that would suffice? Perhaps some people just want a noble excuse to censor others and issue death threats. ;)

Don't, under any circumstances click on this link to depictions of _____________:

You may be taking your life in your hands???

7. At 4:00, in the still from South Park, who's the guy in the green tights?
It looks like they have a skinny Buddha, Krishna, a censored Muhammad, Jesus, a guy in green tights, Moses, and Joseph Smith. The caption is "Super Best Friends." Is the guy in green a comic book figure I don't recognize?

8. Okay, watched the episode. The guy in tights is Seaman.
"NOT Semen, SEA-MAN!" The one I thought was Moses is Lao Tzu. He has a long gray beard and a staff, so I thought Moses.

9. One would have to believe that those who follow Islam and agree with or
don't argue against Fatwas must be very insecure in their religions...

I would think that if God and Mohammad were generally or particularly incensed by something anyone said or depicted about them, they would be capable of handing down punishment themselves.

In one of his books (I believe it was THE EAGLE HAS LANDED) Jack Higgins had one of his characters suggest that God made the Earth and mankind when he was suffering from a particularly bad hangover. Strange how lightning bolts didn't seek him out and fry him, isn't it?
