4. 100% agree. It should be about the candidate's views and past record, not the party

These politicians will change horses in the middle of the stream if they think they can bullshit the other side and have the slightest chance of winning. The parties are so powerful if an incumbent doesn't say or do what the party tells them to do, they will not support them and will actually block them as much as possible from being re-elected. The weak ones succumb. The GOP's the worst abuser of this.

The parties think they are TOO BIG TO FAIL. Let's show them they're NOT!
