Summary: Cenk shares (and rips apart) the reaction Republicans had to the latest (positive) jobs report. You can http://thinkprogress.org/2010/05/07/gop-jobs-point/|read more here>.

PS---Check out (and subscribe to) our new channel, . As the name suggests, it's all great interviews with members of Congress, Michael Moore, Arianna Huffington, Jesse Ventura, economists (William K Black, Joseph Stiglitz and Simon Johnson to name a few), Media Matters reps, various journalists, reporters and much more.

7. Notice the absence of Cenk haters (who claim all he does is rip Obama) in this thread.

9. Of course they wont show up here
I think you can knock Obama on a lot of stuff, but job creation isn't one of them.

2. WHen we hear those good old Southern boys in the GOP talk about Obama like this
. . . one might get the idea that maybe Obama is black. Good things happening can't possibly have anything to do with one of those people being in charge, now, could it?

11. good old Southern boys?
Boehner is from Ohio, and Cantor is a Virginia Jew (and hence not a Southern 'good ole boy'). Where you referring to someone else?

5. After the TARP and the Bailout
hundreds of thousands of jobs were outsourced by the very banksters we gave money to. This outsourcing resulted in Huge bonuses for the same banksters.
A hedgefund, named:the "wolfpack "(funded by us), is currently destroying Greece. They say their next target is Europe and they hope to end up in California. Last month they paid themselves the equivalent of the entire Greek debt. If these unregulated capitalist firms are left unregulated, that will crash the economic systems of the world (maybe not Latin America). Yes, we need jobs desperately, but the glass-steagal act has to be reinstated immediately or it won't matter. Canceling all of the "free trade" agreements would greatly improve our job creation and bring back manufacturing and Unions. Or we can just let the wealth distribution stay as it is. America has the worse wealth distribution of all of the "civilized nations" because they kept their manufacturing sector along with their Unions. I suspect that is why Greece and Europe are number 1 on the "hit list." We don't want Americans to realize that other countries actually have it much, much better than Americans. We are number 1, in inequality. It is a shame that the 80% (millions of people), that own 3% of the wealth, won't protest locally for one day, to let the ruling class know we are tired of serfdom..

12. Excellent Post! I Seriously Doubt We'll See Any of That From This President.
You wrapped it up so succinctly and it is all critical information. I'm going to repost elsewhere if no objections.

Personally, I feel Obama is a Trojan horse. He is the model Democrat by today's popular standards and that is pathetic. His articulation and stand-up comic demeanor help to foster confidence in him from "Democrats" as he proceeds to fulfill the characterization of Democrats as being weak, capitulating, disorganized poseurs that play straight man to Republicans and corporate power.
