2. If they want to upset the playing field

They just need to pull a major 'Johnny Appleseed' across America, and secretly 'crop dust' seeds far and wide and see how things go when plants are literally growing like weeds across the landscape. By plane, car, horseback, hiker, dog walker etc, let those seeds fly everywhere & anywhere - heck, I'd suggest someone sneak a pack in their trouser legs and go visit the White House garden for a 'sprinkle down the leg' effect while walking the grounds.

13. That's a great idea! Everyone should drop seeds wherever they go...
Of course they would probably hire Monsanto to make a special version of Roundup that would be dispersed by Predator drones.

6. it's an interview and commentary
about Obama's new drug policy, which gives lip service to harm reduction strategies but still directs 2/3 of its total funding to law enforcement instead of addiction prevention and harm reduction. The commentator/guest, from Firedog Lake, sees this as an opportunity to keep pressure on the Obama administration to end the completely failed war on drugs. The Drug Czar recently admitted in public that the War on Drugs is a colossal failure which has achieved absolutely none of its goals; it is time to end this madness.

I hope that helps!

18. commentary by a couple of smug and dissheveled kids
they look like they just got done necking behind the bleachers.

Highly slanted and unprofessional.
Too bad.

But consider the source: Russia Today.

4. Sometimes it takes a great deal of intelligence -
- to see that which is right before our eyes.

When the mainstream media starts focusing, as this fringe group has done, on the critical fact that marijuana is the lifeblood of the drug cartels it might start coming clear to the average brainwashed voter that a lot of key people in Washington are on the take from both the cartels as well as from those major corporations whose bottom lines would suffer immensely if marijuana (and hemp) were legalized.

Obama's actions where marijuana is concerned is evidence for me that he is a Trojan Horse. And I urge any who continue to naively hope that he is anything but that to open their eyes and minds and take off the rose-colored glasses. The only real difference between Obama and Bush are style and presentation.

5. Yea. I notice the MSM doesn't even mention the marijuana angle
when it comes to the Mexican cartels ALL OF THE TIME! And it's the most important aspect of their terror because it represents the vast majority of their earnings.

8. Just think
if that Trillion $$ had been spent on the "War On Poverty." We never got a "mission accomplished" speech on that, but it sure faded quickly. Take a poll, ask this poll question: Which is more important, A "war on drugs"--or-- a "war on poverty." We all know the answer. Too bad the elites haven't figured out how to profit from the correct "war." They do have plans in case marijuana is legalized. I am sure their profit margin would not be as high with a legal crop though.

9. Don't forget
all the dough spent feeding the prison industry, the legal profession and local law enforcement. And, how could we forget the banks, which launder the mountains of cash or the Pentagon which spends big money on covert military operations to take a cut of the cartels' action while disguising them as drug interdiction programs.

10. I could enthusiastically support a guy who ended wars, advocated single payer healthcare,
reestablished the financial controls that kept us safe from the Great Depression until the 90"s, and ceased Prohibition II.

I just really need a reason.

As Tim Hardin said "I look to find a reason to believe."

12. There's that statement again....
"... a lot of people thought when Barack Obama came to office, things would change".

Why do we keep hearing that?

15. It keeps getting repeated until it is locked in everyone's mind. Then
the ushering him out of office in 2012--should he run--will be a routine action.

17. The quickest way to end the "war" is hold treason trials.
It is Constitutionally illegal for the government to engage We The People aka "Them" in any capacity. Basically Obama is continuing a Reagan policy. He is simply refusing to acknowledge the War on Drugs as being a real war. The Geneva Convention makes provision's just for this. Let the treason trials begin! Then see how long it takes Obama to surrender the US Government back to We The People.
