This, critics say, is what BP does not want you to see: oil and chemical dispersants swirling together into a toxic soup, forming large plumes under the surface of the water as deep as twenty-five feet, perhaps deeper.

It is unbelievable that this government allowed themselves to be over-ruled by BP when they were asked to find a different dispersant to use.

This is like some kind of horror movie.

Someone needs to stop them NOW. Today the WH once again asks BP to cut back on the use of the dispersant to 50%!! That is insane! Britain banned it, doesn't anyone care about this country anymore?

BP used the dispersant to try to keep the oil off of the shore. Their logic is that they only have to clean up the shore line. This use of dispersant in nothing more then a cost cutting measure. If the oil globbed on th surface, you could skim it off, you could use the booms to form catch basins, and remove it. In small blobs like this it will kill all sea life in the gulf. then the current will take it to the Atlantic where it will kill all sea life. then the gulf stream will take it to Britin(Irony) The Medieranian (Might survive) the indian ocean, the Pacific... Thanks BP You have killed us all to save a buck.

I am so sad, and angry at the same time. Most of all I am sad for my 9 mo. old daughter. before this happened I had hoped she would grow up to be a marine biologist, or somthing of that nature. It's not her falt that she will die with the rest of us in a poisoned planet.

I don't see any regret in the CEO's of BP except the regret that they will lose money. They don't grasp what they have caused except in terms of how much money it's going to cost. I'm supprised BP let these people go dive and film. It must have finally gotten to the point that they can't keep tabs on every boat out there any more.

In my heart I always knew that I would witness the end of humanity. It's to bad that, like a psycho killer who kills his family before turning the gun on himself, we had to take the rest of the creatures on this planet with us. (Except the roaches, thouse fuckers will live through anything)
