1. Looking at the live feed today,
The volume does not appear to have changed, accept in color of the discharge it appears to be the same volume. The pressure shooting the stuff out appears to be the same level of pressure. Isn't it just pushing out the "mud" that was injected..and it is only just a matter of time before the oil pushes it all out? And then won't the oil then just flow, unencumbered again?

2. I thought the pressure looked a little less. But
it also looks like there are more leaks. Did they do that to relieve pressure, or were they always there and we couldn't see them because of the camera angle?

Also, if the mud works, then they are supposed to seal the holes with cement. If they cannnot seal all of them at the same time, wouldn't that just force everything out of the unsealed holes and make things worse?

3. The idea is to push mud into the BOP under pressure - some will be forced out
through the holes, but some, the hope is, will descend down into the well, so that oil inside the well will be under a cap from the mud. When they switch from mud to cement, it will close the BOP shut and the pressure from below will not be able to push mud out.
