1. If teachers want to compete with Bill Gates and his ideas then great!
Just Do It.

Teachers can start charter schools and have done so. If they can do it in the current system then its even better.

I would love to see what good unfettered teachers can do.

3. Unfettered by the system...their contracts or procedures or administrations, etc.
God I would love to see teachers take on the reformers in a results oriented challenge. I would be interested to know which of their current methods they think are necessary to compete properly. Do they come in earlier? Tutor kids on weekends? What would they need to do that violates their current contracts?
