I'm always for TEXT -- though there is an occasional video that needs to be seen.

Some very brief ones you can do -- but it is always helpful to have a little summary.

2. Get a copy of Les Leopold's book.

One of the many excellent points made was that we need to focus on job creation not on budget cutbacks. If we focus on job creation-- real jobs -- and tax the upper percentages of earners at the levels at which we taxed them in the Eisenhower administration, we would have no deficit.

With regard to trade, he suggested limits or bans on imports of goods made in ways that harm the environment or do not conform to decent labor standards.

He pointed out that John Paulson (Hedge Fund manager) made $4.2 million PER HOUR last year. And that Paulson's tax rate was 15%.

This is s video you really need to watch. It is just full of information.

4. Some of what this guy says is false

He says the US stopped managing its currency after the end of Bretton Woods. That's not true. The exact opposite is the case in reality.

Secondly, he says free higher education would bring down unemployment. Has he talked to any college graduates recently?

6. MY work is to be a Controller/Business Manager and I tell you, people stay away because they

think they can get rich if they don't have controls... and it
looks like they can, but there is no public interest in this
transaction and in fact it destroys the social and economic
fabric and makes power and money lord over principles and
rights and equality. 

I say bring back people like me and we can get things under
control.  Accounting is a science, and an art.. but the art is
in the design of the chart of accounts for data mining and
decision making.

I hope this changes quickly because I need work (just like
everyone else does).  And when the finances have controls, we
have the money to keep social networks in place and the land
safe and free with the pursuit of happiness a doable
experience.
