that their intention is to PISS OFF enough extremists to place the military and the country in even greater jeopardy -- make the O look bad?? could they be that cynical, that stupid, or am i getting REALLY paranoid?

4. Congratulations to the republicans!
They have successfully changed the focus of the debate to whether torture WORKS from whether or not it is ILLEGAL, IMMORAL and UNCONSTITUTIONAL.

Has anyone in the media or on this board challenged them on this?
