Does this seem mean? Really? Is it mean to mock the woman who had an affair with Newt Gingrich as he cheated on his second wife? A second wife with whom he had previously cheated on his first wife as she lay dying? Now does it seem mean?

it's petty to make ad hominem attacks on the wife of a politician who is himself so deserving of legitimate and substantive criticism. Keep your eye on the ball, please.

3. We're dealing with a party
Who isn't above making racist comments, sexist comments, mocking the children of a candidate, the brother, mother or pet of a candidate. I consider it a pre-emptive strike. Besides, when she offered herself up on the shrine of hypocrisy by first sleeping with ol' big head, then marrying him then willingly being made a campaign tool, she knew what she was getting into.

the lack of propriety of those two is stunning... and there isn't enough peroxide on this side of the solar system to make me think otherwise.

Considering he wants to foist her upon us after the disgusting way they went about getting together, I say she's fair game. The Catholic Church may

10. no... because she's an adultress
who encouraged a man to leave his very ill wife, to whom he not only took vows, but vows which specifically asked "in sickness" when running down the list of what he "will" do. She had the power to make him bend to the vows he took, she has the power to make him bend to the oath of office he will take. And THAT is why they are not fit and she is fair game.

It is not sexist. It is realist. Remember--these people all claim to be so high and mighty moral defenders.

I remember seeing her at Mass at the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception. So immaculate. Parading around in the choir, singing away, while everyone knew she spent her spare time screwing a man she knew damn well was married.
