Sen Sanders is a showcase for what makes America great.

He's a wonderful human being -- tirelessly working for the people of Vermont! And the nation!

He truly believes in these Health Centers. He's worked so hard for us to have them all over the state (and for that matter, the nation).
We are a small, rural state with not a lot of money. We cover all children (have since the days of Dr. Dean as gov) and are working on single payer.

Health centers, working families, and veterans issues are his priorities.

And yes, he is classy and civil. You will find, if you come to Vermont and talk the issues, most people discuss this same way.

And yes, I'm most definitely envious. I'd move to VT in a flash except for that money thing...and the snow. I'm a NYCer/Northeasterner by birth and most of my life and love VT, but use a wheelchair now and it's a royal pain in the ass getting around in the snow! I've discovered that as we've had a few big snowfalls in the past couple of years in the mountains of NC. (And I love it here, too, despite some profoundly abhorrent legislators.)

Much more effective that way too.

None of those criteria apply to physicians. And physicians can and do quit their profession, and can and do limit their practices and limit their scope of treatments, even though all have graduated med school so theoreticallty even Randie is qualified to do heart and brain implants.

Just watched the video where Randy was saying that having food is not a right. Needed to hear someone in Congress refute it. Bernie is such a class act and a staunch opposite of the smiling fascist sitting next to him. Even Paul knows how ridiculous it sounds to equate universal health care to the period before the civil rights movement. He should be takened to task for that line. His diminishing of what slavery was is right up there with saying the holocaust never happened.
