John Boehner Draws Catholic Criticism for Record on the Poor!

"Your record in support of legislation to address the desperate needs of the poor is among the worst in Congress," the group of 75 Catholic academics and community leaders wrote Boehner Thursday in a letter published by the National Catholic Reporter.

as well as many crocks from many ages. Blatant homilies, to support whatever powers that be, in whatever ways necessary.

The root of all evil is religion and its profound ability to sanction greed and intolerance, as well as, at least in the new testament and a few parts of the old, the goodness and light portrayed in this video.

Sadly greed and evil does not like the teachings of the man we know as Jesus, but prefers the old testament, for within the wisdom, there is much evil.... an unholy book, that is greed and evils excuse for being; Its cover.

I say this as an agnostic, but I do believe the teachings of Jesus as represented in the new testament, though oft mistranslated and misunderstood, is the good in man.
