7. Isn't Coburn reputed to be one of the most honest DC

politicians, or at least one of the most honest Republicans? I don't know whether to laugh or scream. Perhaps a bit of both will do some good. We are in soooo much trouble.

the man didn't "lose himself."

His arrogance and hubris was such that he felt he could do no wrong, even in the glare of the public spotlight. Ask anyone who worked with or around him for any period of time, and you rapidly discover that his attitude was one of being untouchable, and never being wrong.

For all of his purported exposure to "Christian values" the man forgot one of the basic tenants of the faith itself: pride goes before a fall.
