1. That was interesting
I like how he mentioned Keith Olbermann and put GE on the spot. As media becomes totally corporate and wrong wing, we will need people like Mike Moore to speak out against this outrageous assault on democratic rights to a free, unbiased media and monopolies beamed into our living rooms.

3. The big thing to take away
from this piece is medicare "On the table."

Both Obama and Biden continue to imply that medicare is still on the table. This position is political suicide. The question is, why do they continue to take a position that weakens the Democratic Party? Do they want to weaken the Democratic Party?

As long as the American military industrial complex outspends the entire combined world, social security and medicare should be WAY THE FUCK OFF THE TABLE. Medicare shouldn't even be in the same room with the fucking table.

When our military spending is merely equal to the next two largest military spenders, Russia and China I believe, serious deficit discussions could then be seen as reasonable.

Then there are the no tax paying corporations, untaxed millionaires and subsidies on all sorts of fucking industries to consider before we even think about medicare as "on the table". This is what all elected Democrats need to understand on a gut level. And by 'Democrats' I mostly mean the President of The United States. No excuses like 'Republicans holding us hostages' are acceptable.

5. Exactly.
All they need is that 5 second audio clip of a Dem saying "everything is on the table including Medicare and SS."

It will be framed as tacit approval by the Dems of The Rand budget when the GOP run their 30 second commercials with the scary music and unflattering, manipulated photos.
So predictable.
America is dying for a Democrat with a spine.
Can you imagine?
