6. ok then here is a summary:
Hour 1: "Brunch with Bernie"...Senator Sanders discusses Congressional politics and the economy and takes listeners' calls. The first caller asked about QE3 by the Federal Reserve, for example.

Hour 2: Interview with John Amato, editor of Crooks and Liars and author of Over the Cliff: How Obama's Election Drove the American Right Insane, about Amato's story "Why hasn't Roger Ailes been called out by the media for recruiting Chris Christie to run for president?"

7. No -- Here's TEXT and highlights on your 8 minute video --
Edited on Fri May-27-11 10:58 PM by defendandprotect
Watched your 8 min video -- w/pen and paper in hand -

Bernie makes clear while all the talk is about "budget" and reducing it we are losing

sight of the fact that we are locked in a "terrible, terrible recession" --

very minor recovery going on --

BS: Washington Post: Minor resurgence -- but we've lost 50,000 manufacturing plants in last decade

and billions of jobs -- AND WAGES ARE NOW SUBSTANTIALLY LOWER THAN WHAT THEY USED TO BE.

Companies are coming to US now - a good place for low wages -- unions weak.

TH interjects that we are the new Romania or Estonia!

As wages in China go up, US wages go down

US IS NOW ONE OF CHEAPEST PLACES IN THE WORLD TO DO BUSINESS --
*************************************************************

Our workers are forced to work at lowest wages ---

College grads are taking jobs which don't require college degrees --

Grad school grad -- $150,000 in debt for law school --

OFFICIAL UNEMPLOYMENT IS 9% -- BUT REAL UNEMPLOYMENT RATE IS 15% --
*******************************************************************

US NEEDS TO CREATE JOBS -- WE MUST REBUILD CRUMBLING INFRASTRUCTURE - WATER SYSTEMS
DESPERATELY NEEDED
********************************

NEED TO TRANSFORM ENERGY SYSTEM - STOP BURNING FOSSIL FUELS -- MOVE TO SOLAR --
THIS IS NOT ONLY ABOUT ENERGY AND ENVIRONMENT -- IT'S ABOUT ECONOMICS
**********************************************************************

TRADE POLICIES -- DISCONNECT BETWEEN Washington elites and American public --

Everything is made in China !!

We need to restore our manufacturing base with good jobs -- not minimum wage jobs.

NOW SOUTH KOREA -- PANAMA -- COLOMBIA NEW TRADE AGREEMENTS PUSHED THRU BY OBAMA --
SAME OLD STUFF FOR AMERICAN WORKERS!!
*****************************************

GAS PRICES $4 GALLON -- EXXONMOBIL HAS BEEN RIPPING OFF AMERICAN PUBLIC FOR YEARS
FOR THEIR OWN PROFIT -- IT'S MONOPOLY

Wall Street speculation on oil futures increasing the prices, as well --
Commodity futures -- (COMMODITY MARKET NOW DEREGULATED) --
and our airlines, autos, and trucking must deal with this --

Meanwhile, the financial speculators don't have to deal with end product of their
speculation!

ExxonMobil head last week said that 20% to 40% of the price of gasoline had nothing
to do with supply/demand -- only to do with speculation!!
**********************************************************************************

TH: We need to get the Banksters out of the Temple of Commerce!!

OK -- now this is much more TEXT than most videos would require but because Bernie

always gets in so much info of importance I went for it all --

:)
