Scott Walker tried to give a speech at a college celebrrating it's 100th Anniversary. However, he quickly learned that cutting Higher Education funding by 30%, and then banning collective bargaining by the staff of the college, doesn't make him a welcome guest.

College ceremony turns into Walker protest

by WRN Contributor on July 13, 2011

in Education,Politics & Government

It’s not what organizers of Gateway Technical College’s 100-year anniversary planning committee likely envisioned months ago, but in light of the current political climate and with Governor Scott Walker invited to Racine, lots of protesters to his moves on collective bargaining showed up.

The Governor was there to celebrate the birthplace of the technical college system while speaking of the past, present and future of the system. His five minutes of comments were being drowned by chants of “shame” and “recall Walker.” Walker pressed on, his voice elevating for those audience members there to celebrate the centennial milestone.

(I found the video elsewhere and uploaded here).

He should know this by now. Or is he just too dense?

3. That's right. He isn't there to govern. He's there to serve the Kochs.
Why would he care what the people he's robbing think?
