1. Mike Gravel is really a remarkable person
and it is sad that he is given so little credit for what he has done for this country. He isn't exactly presidential material at this point in his life, but he is an important part of our history. Who knows what would have happened if he hadn't ended the draft or got the Pentagon Papers into the congressional record.
