FDR tells the truth about the leaders of the modern Republican party. Somehow, in 1936, he foresaw what would be happening NOW.

1. Still "not available" ...looking forward to seeing it, although might be same one
I've posted on facebook before..re: "Economic royalists " etc. Even if it is, that, and FDR's other speeches can never be posted too many times. They're desperately needed reminders of what a Democrat is or is supposed to be. Whatever it turns out to be (and I hope the problem gets corrected soon), thanks for posting. FDR's words are every bit as important now as they were when he spoke them.

11. Thanks---thought I'd seen em all, but didn't remember this one. Outstanding as usual
C'mon Mr. President. Lock yourself in a room for a few days doing nothing but watching FDR speeches, and then come out ready to do battle for all of us with the strength and conviction of Mr. Roosevelt.

8. I've seen this on TV before.
I especially love the line about how this won't cost anybody anything. The thing they seem to be most upset about, that makes them the maddest, is the idea that they should have to share in the cost of running this country. I keep saying that the argument isn't over cutting spending vs. raising taxes. The battle is over who's going to pay for it, and they believe that they are too good to pay their fair share of the cost.
