I never tied that talking point of the GOP in with the medical marijuana issue, but it shows their hypocrisy so well. Thank you for pointing that out.

All Romney had to do was say that he wouldn't have this particular man arrested. He could even have won public relations points that way without offending his knuckle dragging core base of GOP shit heads.

That's really what they are. I've worked with these people. They seem to have a Neanderthal response to everything. White is black and blue is yellow.

They have an authoritarian attitude but will always back down if not in a position of what they feel is power.

When it is the synergy of cannabinoids found in the natural product that makes it effective... not just the THC..

Do you want to have to scrounge for money for SCHIP... when the TAXES on LEGALIZED Marijuana could pay for it easily... (40 billion)

Do you want your kid to lose his or her Federal funding for college eligibility because he got caught with an 1/8th??

Do you want to waste our resources on jailing sick people and normal adults for a victimless crime??

The war on pot is doomed in the end. There are now sixty and seventy year old potheads out there. And even the young who don't smoke don't have the issues with it that the older generation did.

My son has had both...he has a lot in common with the young man in the video(dermatomyositis). I much rather he smoke a little bud than but another syn. chemical in his body. I worry constantly that the fed. goverment will ignore California law and jail him.

our dem candidates would provide "unshocking" answers. i doubt anyone would throw the question back in anyone's face like Mittens, but, i'd expect a high degree of triangulation from all of the top three. maybe i'm a pessimist.

Where the obvious answer is "Yes, I support it". I hope I'm not proved wrong.

Of course the Repukes will use it against them.. "See Hillary|Edwards|Obama|Gore want everyone to take drugs!", but really who cares? The public already knows that medicinal pot is a good thing.

i doubt we're going to see reform on the federal level. change is going to happen (if at all) in the statehouses.

And then we'll see ol' Mitt come out swinging for medical marijuana.

She was doing very well in Utah after the olympics but he insisted that they move back to MA because he wanted to run for governor so he could run for president. Thats the kind of man romney is.
