3. I don't want to hi jack this thread, but
after I looked at this video, I watched another on education http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ETU8VJP4xy8&mode=user&search= where more came out on Edwards education plan. One of the things that I really liked was that in high school, students had to do 25 hours of community service each year. It could be anything, but before they completed high school they should have 100 hours under their belt. If they don't do the community service, they don't fail the year, but when they come back as sophomores they would be assigned to a freshman home room until the community service is finished. They have this in a few schools in North Carolina, and Edwards would like to see this program throughout the US. They have seen high schoolers have really been helped with this program and become better citizens.

4. This also gives kids the chance to gain confidence from
doing something real for someone or something besides themselves. What a great idea.
