but I have often wondered why Israel doesn't condemn the world-wide persecution of Muslims, such as the extraordinary rendition of innocent human beings, as a similar tragedy to the Holocaust? I occasional am beset with the burning question, why isn't there National condemnation over documented abuses like Abu Grab(sp) and Gitmo, where human beings are locked up in abhorrent conditions and kicked around for the sadistic pleasure of the guards? To me it couldn't be more similar to a Nazi concentration camp. It must be inflammatory to ask why because I've posted it in the Jewish forum and had it drop out of sight. I think it was a legitimate question. Of course now that I think over it, our American Jewish population has no business fielding questions meant for the nation of Israel. I just think it is wrong to contemn a whole race or religion as a scapegoat for the fervent nationalism required to produce Fascism. That's all. Seems like the previously persecuted would agree.
