The history if Israel and perhaps of the entire Israeli-Palestinian Conflict changed forever on November 4th, 1995, when Rabin was gunned down by a radical ultra-right winger opposed to the Oslo Peace Accords.

1. It appears to me that at the final second

Rabin turned his head toward the shooter or at least toward a sound he might have heard of a gun going off.
