I haven't seen in-country footage for months and months.
Only talking heads, clips of visiting pols, and varying predictions.

3. Your post reminds me that we did indeed used to see the "embeds" traveling
around with the troops. I don't remember when that ceased, do you? Maybe when the Mission was Accomplished.

...but it will get no play, because it is counter to the mantra about Iran (Shiites) killing U.S. troops.

The 101st Airborne in Tikrit is up against Saddam's people - the Sunni's - who just happen to hate Iran.
