GRINNELL, Iowa (CNN) -- The college student who was told what question to ask at one of New York Sen. Hillary Clinton's campaign events says "voters have the right to know what happened" and she wasn't the only one who was planted.

In an exclusive on-camera interview with CNN, Muriel Gallo-Chasanoff, a 19-year-old sophomore at Grinnell College in Grinnell, Iowa, said that giving anyone specific questions to ask is "dishonest," and the whole incident has given her a negative outlook on politics.

Gallo-Chasanoff, whose story was first reported in the campus newspaper, said what happened was really pretty simple: She says a senior Clinton staffer asked if she'd like to ask the senator a question after an energy speech the Democratic presidential hopeful gave in Newton, Iowa, on November 6.

"I sort of thought about it, and I said 'Yeah, can I ask how her energy plan compares to the other candidates' energy plans?'" Gallo-Chasanoff said Monday night.

"'I don't think that's a good idea," the staffer said, according to Gallo-Chasanoff, "because I don't know how familiar she is with their plans." Watch the student describe how she was approached »

He then opened a binder to a page that, according to Gallo-Chasanoff, had about eight questions

1. well it was stupid for them to do it. but the media is a pile of assholes for
knowing everything w does is scripted and coached and put into his moronic ear by radio and never bothering to hardly mention it or ever follow up but then they turn on hillary for much much less like its some sort of outrage.

I don't want a something like a Bush in the WH. I want a nothing like a Bush in the WH.

5. Reminds me of Red Foreman from "That Seventies Show"
The Republicans chose him to ask a "softball" question to candidate Gerald Ford. Foreman, (after his son streaked through the auditorium with nothing but a Nixon mask on), threw away the question and asked, "I have a question for you, Jerry: how the hell could you pardon Nixon?"

What would Red Foreman ask the candidates today?

7. The campaign people sound like idioits. They should not have said Hillary
was not familiar with other plans, even if it were true. Sounds like someone working for Hillary's campaign is involved to me?

9. so george HOW IS IT GOING IN THE GREEN ZONE ?
geez.... we all know the questions are planted----- i personally would prefer it if the candidate just said---- " I KNOW SOME OF YOU ARE WONDERING...." OR
" I HAVE BEEN ASKED IF....."

BUT LETS GET DOWN TO THE FACTS......

the GOP lies all day then looks for a crack in our armor
the GOP steals by the millions, dozens of them, even with the AG laying off them for 6 years... and are arrested by the truckful.... and FOX worries that the CROOK DEM JEFFERSON DOES THE SAME THING

--------- we are being watched and reported upon by the heavily rightwing media--- we have to be JUST a little bit better than they are... we have to watch our words and actions just a bit more...

OF COURSE ALL OF THAT WILL CHANGE WHEN HILLARY IS ELECTED AND THESE NEWS ASSHOLES HAVE TO BEG TO GET INTO THE DEMOCRATICALLY CONTROLLED PRESS ROOM.....
--------------- i only hope we stay fair and balanced
------------------------------because THAT is what WE really are about
