1. Sorry, the moment he brought up Plato, I stopped.
Why is it that people think showing off their college educations will convince anyone of anything?

2. As a HS drop out,
That didn't do much for me either, but the point was still relevant.

3. "showing off"??
I graduated college in 1996. I've been aware of that story since high school (graduated in 1960). He used it very well, with no pretense or airs. He explained it to those who might not have heard it and he didn't try to make anyone look stupid.

He definitely wasn't showing off. He was making an intelligent statement.

4. In 1986, one of my best friends
was an odd Shakespearian actor who graduated from Juilliard, He had spent a few years on Broadway playing leads such as Cyrano, he brought over all his clippings and there was no doubt of his experience in my mind, but had found himself more fascinated with raising tropical birds for Bush Gardens and tree surgery. To each his own.

He was a great actor and preformed shorts of many of his plays for me and others, we were mostly uneducated hillbillies working for minimum wage and never once felt intimidated by his talent, a talent I now realize was vast.

This young man in the video has some of that in him, but my friend was a great entertainer, so I appreciate all who do their best, that is the one thing I learned from my friend.
