1. I'll participate!
It's hell being out among the slavering beasts doing their Christmas shopping, anyway.

K&R!

3. Yeah, murder the small retailers. What a good idea.
That's really the most important thing to do: make sure every remaining spark of originality is crushed out of retailing by destroying those least likely to survive a lean Christmas.

GREAT THINKING, CUBE RATS.

5. Best buys is a small retailer?
few of them remain, at least in my town

And if I buy on Saturday insteand of Friday, will not affect them

7. Oh, give me a break, will you?
As if folks making a political statement won't go to the small retailers the next day if they have something shoppers want--and I run a business myself. Besides, this group is far more likely to support small retailers, given a choice, than big national chains. Making a political statement is in no way going to harm those smaller retailers considering the holiday season as a whole. These options are not mutually exclusive, and suggesting that they are needlessly discourages activists, when that's the last thing we Democrats need right now.

8. Buying nothing will only piss off your corporate masters...
Boycotting might force their private militia to have you disappeared without due process, imprisoned without a warrant, held indefinably without representation or trial, seize all your assets and have you tortured and murdered... but hey wait a minute... they can do that already. We have nothing to lose. They've taken it all already. Boycott your brains out... too little too late, anyway.
