1. Team Mascot
BabyLionSister, you and I seem to run into each other a lot on this site. Maybe it's because we both have a reverence for the great things that Barack Obama is saying and doing. I have so much hope and respect for his ideals and leadership. I have the "Audacity of Hope" that the American people can collectively elect and support this man to become our next president and will do their parts to bring pride, thrift, and intelligence back to the American people. Thanks for gleaning these things from the net and your clout to make them visible.

3. Hello, insanad.
I currently have a few favorites, and do like what I'm hearing and reading about Senator Obama. I also love Rep. Kucinich, but he's being ignored unfortunately.
No one is going to impress me 100%, but I would think that applies to everyone. I'm still weeding through the available info out there; knowledge is power, so they say. So it would behoove all of us to read as much as possible about everyone, because one of these candidates will figure prominently in our future (hopefully!).

4. I'd like a good behooving
That's a great word. I used to be a McMormon and they'd use that on on the monthly testimonial meetings with the line, "I'd be behooved if I didn't stand and bare my testimony. I found a dollar in my sweater so I know the church is the one and only true church of God!!"

Cognitive Dissonance (a physiological condition brought about by lies and inconsistancies conflicting with reason and logic) caused me to leave the church, but I still like behooving. I've been behooved to read much about our respective Democratic Candidates as well but when I read the words and deeds of Barack Obama I am continually impressed and very inspired. I do think he is still fitting into the big shoes that he's taken on, but if anyone can do it, he can. I like Kucinich as well and am very impressed with his energy and forthrightness. That may not be enough to get him elected but he'll always have some worthwhile role in govt.and i believe he can do much good no matter where he is.

I look forward to reading more of your posts and following the trail of the things you glean off the net.
