1. My son was born 19 years ago today

That was the 25th anniversary of Kennedy's assassination.

The networks replayed Cronkite's entire newscast.

There I was in a hospital room full of morphine w/my newborn baby in NICU and I'm watching Waler Cronkite cry in black and white television.

4. I still cry whenever I see that video of John-John at the funeral;

my brother and I were the same age as John-John and Caroline Kennedy, and we had seen the President just a few weeks earlier when he visited San Diego and was in a motorcade here.

So, so sad....
