19. Who was that Republican?
What on earth was that Republican's problem?! Accusing Dennis of making personal accusations..... Well that's what Impeachment is!!! An accusation of grave misconduct against a person. Duh! Is that guy trying to say that Impeachment is not allowed in the House?! What a fool.

Hey has everyone checked out the new mini-documentary on Kucinich's exclusion from the debates?

Attention Democrat Voters: Democracy

<snip>
The web site of Rep. Cliff Stearns (R-Ocala) has been honored by the Congressional Management Foundation (CMF) as one of the best web sites in Congress. The site received the Golden Mouse Award and was highlighted in The Golden Mouse Report: Lessons from the Best Web Sites on Capitol Hill. In selecting the best sites, CMF analyzed 618 congressional web sites.

33. Personal means something about stiff neck or alchohol of falling asleep in the
middle of the SOTU. We are talking republic/government egregious lies. Why did Kucinich withdraw?

What is the Senate rule (that we all know the Republicans have probably broken). Probably. What a joke. The House didn't smear both Clintons personally on the floor?

A rose is a rose unless its a LIE.

Un F'ng buhlevable. How can anyone think anything other than that Bush, Cheney, etc. were lying through their respective teeth. The house rules preventing this suck. But, then maybe Dennis needs to take another tack and just use some sort of word play just like FAUX News does ...

"Is the president a liar? Here are the facts ... I leave it to the American people to decide"

Not calling him a liar, but asking if he is one.

30. Your original post was completely logical. I agree with you.
I suppose you saw the video with the deeply offended Republican shill, claiming the high ground after Kucinich had the nerve to tell the truth? Honor among thieves and all that.

It is a game, but not of Kucinich's making. I suspect he's just learned to use covert methods to get a word or two out!

20. as far as presidential material goes
you see hillary and obama on the tv. But you never see them up on the hill anymore. Kucinich is still doing his job and doing what he can for america. Cuts in on campaign time but its important and kucinich knows that. This guy is the most qualified on principals alone. Not to mention he has more experiance in government and multiple layers of government as well then any of the other candidates.

21. In a courtroom trial, even though the judge orders that a statement...
...be stricken from the record, the jury has already heard it.

I was disappointed when Dennis withdrew his remarks, but he may have used the above tactic to get what is simply the truth out!

whether or not a hummer is sexul relayshuns?

we had to hear it day in day out that bill did the nasty in the OO.

what about all the soldiers, men, women, & children bushco had killed, and that HE fucking lied to have it done?

why is our news all about teh fluff, but REAL shit, like soldiers getting blown up for 20000 pages worth of LIES, like the REALITY that iraqi children face EVERYDAY because of the same pack of lies, the mothers who fear for their children when they want to play outside, or have to go to school, or who don't know where their husbands are, and unlike american women, they're not worried he's having dinner with another woman, no, they're worried that he got picked up for "interrorgation" and a lil waterboarding. why are the REAL stories like theirs and kucinich ignored and marginalized?

ah, but i apeak of common frustrations...

infuriating!

39. It ain't my "kooch", either
I'm still waiting for someone to explain the arcane House rules that tell us 1) what rule(s) he broke, 2) what he retracted, and 3) why he retracted it.

I found the Congressional Record transcript from yesterday, and indeed, his remarks are mostly stricken - only the retraction remains. It appears that Dennis was one of the first to speak, about 10:17 (Congress opened up at 10:00), and his retraction comes at 10:30.

House Speaker Pelosi declared just before and just after the '06 elections that impeachment was "off the table" and she has not changed her mind. She's in charge, and she's not allowing it.

38. It's becoming clear that our government is broken.
If we can't use the tools the Constitution gives us to remove criminals from office, then the criminal element has won.

It makes this whole presidential campaign look more and more like a big farce played for the benefit of the common citizen that is getting screwed in the process.
