PS---If you enjoy this and are tired of the corporate mainstream media election coverage, why are you watching (and therefore supporting) it?

Support progressive media and watch the BraveNewFilms/TYT election coverage instead. They have fun and informative progressive hosts with tons of great guests (Sam Seder was on for the Iowa coverage just to name one of many examples) and up to the minute updates on the polls.

If you watch at BraveNewFilms, there is also a great live chat and live polling (i.e. instant polling of everyone watching the coverage). At the *very* least, you can have the TV on (if you insist) and do the live chat at your PC.

Here is the partial guest list for the South Carolina coverage (more guests and hosts will be added over the next couple of days!):

1. History will skip judging Bush. It would be a waste of time and effort and space.

4. How will they judge Republicans in general?
Here you have just about half the population, buying into every lie the Bushies spit out and then spreading those lies while at the same time putting themselves into two categories.......filthy liars or disgustingly stupid people. And they were led by platoons of educated Republicans who were without any sense of ethics or human values.

How will they all be judged?

LIKE POND SCUM.

6. How are they going to judge political leaders in general
With all the evidence that Bush, Cheney & Co. deliberately lied about the threat posed by Iraq, they failed to hold them accountable.

If the US government is unwilling or unable to bring Bush, Cheney and their lieutenants to justice for war crimes, then an international tribunal should be established for that purpose.

8. How will History judge us?
Bush's failure is our failure. He is a man with no talent, no intellect, and no skill. Yet by birth he has assumed a position of vast wealth and authority. In other words, he represents everything about how America is run.

10. Hopefully he will be met with the same fate as Pope Formosus
Edited on Thu Jan-24-08 09:32 PM by rpannier
...he had the body of formosus exhumed and put on trial ...had Formosus’ papal vestments removed and two fingers from his right hand cut off. Formosus’ body was thrown in to the Tiber.

12. Here's a brief history of the event
When Stephen VI came the Papal Throne, he had the body of Formosus exhumed and put on trial (this is the famous Cadaver Synod). Formosus was accused of transmigrating sees in violation of canon law, of perjury, and of serving as a bishop while actually a layman. Stephen had Formosus’ papal vestments removed and two fingers from his right hand cut off. Formosus’ body was thrown in to the Tiber.

13. my greatest wish, fervent prayer (and I'm an atheist) is
that history will show these criminals for who and what they are and what they have done. That it will be recorded in history books in gory detail and that all school children will read about it so that it can NEVER happen again.

14. He'll be remembered as the "Pull my Finger" pretzlenut.
He'll also be remembered among those who ordered the slaughter of millions of innocent men, women and children.

15. "A Great Man"
is what the official media will report. Just like Reagan who left the office in disgrace with investigations everywhere, history will be re-written to make this pile of crap into a great Washington statue.

In 20 years, all we'll be hearing is how he brought democracy and freedom to the world. It's the same old money and political machine. Do you think anything has changed?

17. Ever hear about Bill O'Reilly's complaint...
That there's people negatively saying "Bush is a murderer"?

Well, guess what? BUSH IS A MURDERER! And his murder weapon with lies and falsehoods and sending and ordering our troops to kill 1,000,000 innocent Iraqis, and 4,000 troops got killed for that.

Bush belongs to the same category as Hitler and Stalin, not Martin Luther King and John F. Kennedy!
