Has anyone heard any outrage over Donnie McClurkin
from anyone other than a core of activists on DU?

Have HRC, or GLAAD, or other gay rights groups endorsed Hillary or Edwards in protest of McClurkin?

Does anyone care about this as much as a tiny minority of people do on DU?

1. I haven't heard anything.
No one outside of some blogs has mentioned this at all.

4. Nope. I have a friend who is a GLBT activist; he is supporting Obama.
But then, he seems to be actually sane, unlike many of the folks wearing the GLBT mantle online. ("on the internet no one knows you're a dog", ahem.)

6. And, just for facts' sake, here's the source ref for that side allusion

As originally published on page 61 of the July 5, 1993 issue of 'The New Yorker' magazine:

(With another, quasi-related, cartoon tossed in just by way of early-morning lagniappe, ahem...)
