LV Sun confronts Taylor Marsh
I was going to put this in the smear post below, but thought you guys might want to see it right away.

"..None of the Culinary members interviewed by the Sun claim to have been threatened.

Worst case scenario: Organizers are telling members they must caucus for Obama — or they can’t caucus. While experts say that’s unethical, it also is an outlier in the cases examined by the Sun.

Most of the members interviewed by the Sun say they are Clinton supporters who have taken issue with either the Culinary’s endorsement of Obama or the endorsement in general.

The situation is not as black and white as liberal blogger Taylor Marsh says it is. Marsh did not respond to an e-mail seeking an interview. Here are some questions the Sun sought to ask her.

1) Marsh did not identify the eyewitness to the Paris incident as a Clinton supporter. Why not?

2) Marsh did not include any interview with the actual alleged victim, Sylvia Antuna. Why not? In an interview with the Sun, Antuna said the incident may have been more misunderstanding than intimidation.

3) Did Marsh attempt to reach the Culinary Union to get its response to the allegation? If not, why not?

4) Last year, Marsh accepted money from the Association of Federal, State, City and Municipal Employees (AFSCME), to blog at a Democratic event. AFSCME has endorsed Clinton and is a longtime ally of the Clinton family. Has Marsh taken payment from AFSCME recently? If so, how much?.."

1. There's a dkos diary
which really rips Taylor on other inaccuracies in addition to thoroughly covering the LV Sun article.

2. Thanks for the link. I think we should name bloggers like Taylor Marsh:

"Clinton freepers". I am also open to another name, but let's be clear that they are different from the real Clinton supporters on the blogs (yes, there are a few) and real liberal bloggers. I have no idea if any of them have been paid, but that is possible.

Here's my comment:

We need a name for her kind: (0 / 0)

Clinton Freeper. I find her behavior quite similar to Freepers. No lie is beyond the pale for her. No smear is below her standards. She bans commenters who call her on her lies. She writes in a bizarre "I am so smart, and I know everything about Topic A" a la Rush Limbaugh while mocking her opponent (Obama) with name calling insults.

She is a Clinton freeper, as is Larry Johnson's blog. Freepers are confirmed liars and are not credible sources.

That is not to be confused with real Clinton supporters who are honest, and simply fighting for their candidate. But there are many, many Clinton freepers in the ethers and they all need to be exposed for the hacks that they are.

3. I don't know
that I'd connect Senator Clinton to what a blogger is doing. Sen. Clinton has no direct control over Taylor Marsh.

I think perhaps the term "lefty freeper" would be more appropriate.

4. I think Hillary does it herself
Unless you believe she didn't know about Shaheen or Kerrey and didn't know the law suit in NV was going to be brought or that it was perfectly legal for students in IA to vote. Or about the various illegal fundraisers. I think they take their cue from their candidate.

5. Well, I think there is a connection which I obviously would not be able to prove. Here's why.
There is a bizarre weird thing that happens to bloggers who decide to go full out for Hillary -- they start behaving like Taylor Marsh. Is it too much of a conspiracy theory to think that that is NOT a coincidence? And we know how nasty some of the posters on the main DU boards act. They have ALWAYS been nasty. You're telling me that Peter Daou isn't in touch with Clinton friendly blogs? I find that very difficult to believe.
