As a Kerry supporter, it took me a while to warm to Obama. I was devastated when Kerry announced he wasn't running; it was hard to get behind anyone, and all the faults of the other candidates (including Obama) seemed magnified. I guess it might be similar for you now...I just appreciate that you are giving Obama a chance.
I'm sorry your candidate is out of the race. It hurts to lose the dream that you've invested so much heart and soul into. I would also like to see some of Edwards' ideas about helping the poor and middle class end up as a priority of the eventual Dem nominee.
I am in for the O...but damn it, I hope after I take all of his supporters here at DU off ignore, they show they are worthy.
I think all candidates have "supporters" at DU that are unworthy of them. I hope you find not too many in the Obama camp. FWIW, I have far more Clinton "supporters" on ignore than Edwards supporters. (yes, there is a reason for the quote marks. I think the sensitivity setting on the troll-meter the mods use should be turned up a few notches.)
