4. I'll be checking FDL out for that reason. Otherwise, chilling really
There's nothing else that I'm expecting in the news that's all that big. Or if there is, I missed it.

I like reading Brit online papers at times too (Guardian & Independent). Can find some real gems some days.

6. He gets sentenced the day a Dem gets indicted--coincidence?
Or would that be as silly as believing that Rumsfeld's firing was timed to divert media attention from the Dem win in November?

12. He was protecting it from inflation.
Actually, quite a few people seem to think a freezer is a good hiding place for cash. It was even part of the subplot to "Coyote Ugly."

14. Maybe he didn't want bugs in it.
Freezer is for bodies, cash better off in the garbage dumpster. $50.00 for 3 unloaded bags of groceries.

17. Thirty years ago, the freeer was a good place to hide things,
but the "drug war" has made concealment of anything much more problematic. There's no way, today, that people could be concealed as in Poland in WWII.
I don't give a crap who does the crime, and the game congressman Jefferson engaged in was definitely criminal, they should be held accountable.

Even though Jefferson did not engage in the republican all time favorite-pedophilia tops the list-he is crooked enough to be a republican.
