1. Good question- how can they not remove the worst AG ever
with all the evidence they have? Cave Part II? Problably.

2. Congress is in recess
I am still waiting for the no-cofidence vote in the Senate.

3. Who knows? At this point it's anybody's guess. It's sad that we have to wonder.
I had such high hopes.

4. Not everything is dramatic
Look it up. Some progress of some type could be made, even if it's not dramatic and entertaining and not in the news.

Congress is overwhelmed with work. What other Congress has had to end a war, impeach the President and the Veep and the AG, all while doing the usual stuff?

5. The Senate Judiciary Committee
is holding another hearing today, at 2:30 PM.

It would be more satisfying to me personally if Leahy and Conyers could frog-march Gonzo out of his office and into a waiting squad car, but things don't work that way in Washington.

6. there was no Dem cave-in
It's not like you can't take the time to look into what Congress is doing on Gonzales instead of spreading this kind of apathetic garbage about a 'cave-in'.

And, to act like they aren't doing anything because you haven't heard anything in the media is beyond pathetic.

8. Repeat with me: "there is no cave-in; it's a subtle calculation"
Too bad the Dem Congress has lost a huge chunk of public support because of it. Damn fools.

11. Yeah, what The Hell Is Up With That?
A lot of smoke, but not a bit of fire, nothing. It seems over to me.

12. Hearings, statements of outrage, a press conference, some threatening letters...
...then the current issue becomes yesterday's issue. This is a process we've seen time and time again by both parties and the media over the last six years.

Words that seem to have unclear meaning these days: oversight, accountability, opposition party, morality, right and wrong, democracy, news, journalism, public discourse, honesty, courage, election.

I don't know anymore.

14. Good question...
was giving Gonzo a pass a part of the big deal for war funding?

This tinfoil says it's entirely possible.
