http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/18963731/The MSNBC poll on how the Right Wing candidates did last night is pretty interesting. The link shows Ron Paul as having the most resonance, dealing with issues in a straightforward manner, etc.
Obviously, this poll is open to anyone and doesn't necessarily reflect what RW voters will do at the polls.
I'm not a proponent of Ron Paul as president. He's a libertarian and not a republican and wants to dismantle the federal government, in effect.
However, I am absolutely aligned with him on his foreign policy positions, particularly when it comes to the Middle East and Iraq. I think this poll is some evidence of the disgust of the American people with the neo-colonialists in BOTH parties and should be a wake up call to the democratic candidates who appear to be neo-con lite, when it comes to the Iraq conflagration.
A firm anti-colonialist is going to garner a lot of independents. A wishy washy dem candidate on the Iraq issue is going to have trouble energizing voters in 2008. (this voter in particular)
