Also, has any of that lost money been found? I think it was somewhere around $9 billion. Just think what all that money could have done for our infrastructure!

5. Right now they are drawing down the $100 billion as fast as they can
...so by Sept 30, 2007 Bush will be back to the feeding trough of the U.S. Congress asking for still more money.

By that point the official cost of the Iraq War will have reached $550.0 billion since it began on March 13, 2003 and the official invasion began on March 20, 2003, so operations will have continuously been running for a total of 1,662 days or four years, six months and a nineteen days. That has meant an average spending by Bush on his war of $330,926,594.50 per day.

Factor in the U.S. soldiers killed and wounded, this is every much a quigmire as Vietnam ever was.

7. The figures are staggering!!! Where is the outrage?
"A considerable number of Soldiers and Marines are conducting combat operations everyday of the week, 10-12 hours per day seven days a week for months on end," wrote Col. Carl Castro and Maj. Dennis McGurk, both psychologists. "At no time in our military history have Soldiers or Marines been required to serve on the front line in any war for a period of 6-7 months."
