Ask your Republicans friends this simple question...
They seem so anxious to grant Bush all these extraordinary powers, but are they so short sighted that they fail to realize whatever powers they grant Bush are powers that will be inherited (possibly) by Hillary? Do they really feel comfortable giving Hillary all those powers? Aren't they even slightly worried that Hillary might start rounding up Republicans and tossing them into Gitmo? If they are, as they seem, so afraid of Hillary, why are they going out of their way to give her so much inherited power?

...The founding fathers did not trust George Washington with these powers; how can you expect us to trust George Bush with them?

6. Sadly, the Bush True Believers
don't think a Democrat will ever be president again--instead, they really want Bush to be dictator for life.

7. being a Republicon means
never having to look forward or consider consequences.

I have tried this tactic, and they either don't answer or laugh and say "she'll nevar be presdint!" without really considering it.

10. Personally,
The one question I have always asked Conservatives is simple and leads then into a state of complete idiocy. I'm talking to the point where they just stare at you with nothing to say.

All you have to ask them is this:

"Name me one God damn thing the Conservative party has ever done for the benefit for this country or this entire planet as a whole".

They will not be able to give one straight answer, because the reality is they have not one accomplishment to stand on. Where as Liberals we have dozens.

14. None of my Republican friends...
want to grant Bush any extraordinary powers. I think it's a stretch to say that your average Republican wants a dictatorship under Bush (or anyone else).

16. The REAL extraordinary power they want to grant Bush is PERMANENT power
And they're just trying to get to the point to do that. Everything else is staging.

19. They have no intention of relinquishing power in '08
They believe that the election system they have successfully corrupted will keep another repug as the only unitary executive.

20. And what makes you think there's actually going to be an election in 2008?
After all, we didn't have them in 2000 & 2004. Yea, I know people were allowed to vote. And the media made a big deal of "Election Day". But it doesn't count for much when they don't let the guy who got the most votes win, does it?
