Has anyone seen the latest issue of Newsweek?
The headline reads "After Bush is Gone", then underneath says something like "How to restore America's place in the world". I only got a glimpse of it from the next aisle at the grocery store, so I could be wrong about the exact wording.

If anyone has a picture of it, could you post it here? Thanks.

poll: Can America restore its international image after President Bush leaves office?

Submit questions to NEWSWEEK's Fareed Zakaria on how America must move forward after the Bush administration:

I have the cover and it kind of took my breath away. I actually showed it to people. But the cover doesn't seem to be online anywhere.

4. newsweek can bite me
where the hell were they when dubya was engineering this mess.
while the rest of us were in the streets, they were kissing his ass. they had to wait until the chimp went below 30% to finally do the kind of reporting that any real journalist would have done to begin with

6. I bought it to add to my collection! The front cover gave me hope...
...and some of the article is good (I haven't read the whole thing yet), but some of it is Fareed Zakaria jumping the Gun a bit.

After giving a bit of history of how we got to where we are today in the fist 3 paragraphs, he starts the 4th paragraph by saying

"...In any event, it is time to stop bashing George W. Bush. We must begin to think about life after Bush—a cheering prospect for his foes, a dismaying one for his fans (however few there may be at the moment). In 19 months he will be a private citizen, giving speeches to insurance executives...."

While I agree that "...We must begin to think about life after Bush..." I think i's WAY TOO EARLY to "stop bashing George W. Bush..."

Maybe Fareed hasn't spent enough time here in the old U.S. of A., because he seems to have forgotten that in 1990-91, our Government deployed our Military, fought a War and and declared victory in less than 19 months!

He can still do a lot more damage in his remaining time if we let up now.
