....dana rohrabacher

this guy is actually making a little sense, criticizing big business for abusing the middle-class, selling-out to china, not educating enough americans!

amazing for a wingnut.

1. Replay? If so, I think I caught the segment earlier-

Maybe he is scared of losing the next election?
I know people in this country ARE starting to wake up.
Repiglicans and Democrats alike.
Perhaps he has heard enough grumbling from his
constituents to start addressing the issues?

That would be my guess.
He must be afraid of losing his direct line to the corporate tit.
So, he grand stands for his voters, and then goes right back to business
as usual.
Funny how many dems resemble that routine, eh?

2. he's still speaking live on the house floor.
i agree, the repubs are running scared, even biting the corporate hand that feeds them, at least on immigration.

3. Rohrabacher
has opposed some of the trade deals in the past. I remember an interview with him in the 90s where he was expressing concerns about NAFTA and it's effect on US workers.

4. Good for him!
It is no longer a Dem/Repig issue.
Globalization, as planned by BOTH sides of the aisle
will destroy us ALL.

5. Amen! and WTF is up with Hillary on the Libby pardon?

loved your responses on that thread.

I'll (noseholdingly) vote for her in 08, if she gets the nomination, but I am SICK UNTO DEATH of voting for the slightly lesser of two evils

I voted for Clinton in 92, Nader in 96, and desire with all my heart a party that represents PROGRESSIVE values on a local/national level

is that ever going to happen?

not until we take the money out of the electoral process

will that ever happen?

not while these two parties have control over legislation making it possible.....
