Randi just slip some wonderful news
Edited on Thu Jun-21-07 04:43 PM by warrior1
She's taking a caller from Sacramento and she said "Am I on there yet?" The guy was streaming so he didn't know. Christine Craft had mention that she had some good news for Sacramento listeners on Monday. I've been wondering if it was going to be Randi. And now she just announced she be on the air on June 25, 2007. On KSAC, 1240 Am TalkCity.

Right fucking on!

in the Bay Area she is still in the dungeon (9PM - midnight). her live air time in progressive San Francisco is occupied by Rush Schultz. who i can't listen to, he's so ignorant. Randi and Thom Hartmann work their asses off to research and know what the hell they are talking about. when i happen to be in the car in the noon - 3PM slot and i accidently turn to KQKE, more often than not these days it's a moment of a caller addressing an issue which Rush Schultz admits he knows very little about. gee, thanks for being a know-nothing Limbaugh-alike blowhard.

i'm about ready to take the KQKE window cling out of the car. the program director here is a joke, he's also the program director for Reich-wing Clear Channel stations here. so do i think he has Bay Area progressive listeners' best interests in mind? nope.

7. I feel for you. Schultz use to be on in the afternoon. Now, it's the evening.
I love love love Thom Hartman. He's brilliant.

4. Good for them
We lost our AAR affiliate here (Corpus Christi) because, in my opinion, the owner messed with the format too much. Most of the station was something other than the AAR lineup. So now I guess he sold it. Oh well.

6. Here in Sacramento
the 1240am Talkcity channel is, I think, owned by Jones radio. AA use to be on 1320am. They changed formats to ESPN about 4 months ago. On 1240 they've been picking up AA shows.

8. I guess Corpus is considered a small market
there was not enough ad revenue to support AAR, though I notice the right wing stations are having no trouble.

9. KSAC is locally owned by Paula Nelson. 1240 was one of the early AAR affiliates back in the
summer of 2004. AAR later dumped KSAC to move to KCTC 1320.

10. Hot Damn, I'll just have to dial in TalkCity sooner
I usually meander over to 1240 around 3pm for my Christine Craft fix, now I will aim for noon (assuming Randi is filling the noon to three slot).
