It's the principal of the thing. We should show that we care and are paying attention. May they all rest in peace.:loveya: Somehow, when these threads die on DU, it's even worse for me than when the corporate media ignores the deaths of our soldiers. I have zero expectaions for corporate media, after all.

Although on my local station deaths are regularly reported with decent coverage. I'm not too far from Fort Lewis, so local deaths are fairly common, and affect local families. What's is going to take? Another 50,000 or so? A new stark black rock with thousands of names to appease our souls?
