WE employ them, we have a right to check up on their work and inspect.
When they start acting like they owe us nothing in information on what they are doing (ala destroying logs, documents, etc and so on) then it is SELF EVIDENT that the power we gave them - the office we allowed them to hold - has went to their head and they see themselves as the power and not the people who let them sit there and manage things.
As a stockholder in this country, I want the board we elected to boot them and get a real CEO in there that cares about the company and it's workers, not lining their own pockets via abuse of power.
They are dangerous - we (and by we, I mean the American people in general, not we who did not vote for his sucky ass) the people allow them to manage our weapons, our military, etc, and they have let that go to their heads.
Their contract is about up, and thank god it cannot be renewed. But sometimes, when you have a bad player (as we do now) you buy out that contract and get someone else in to fill the void until the next round.
Some say, ride it out - me, I say, each day is more damage to what myself and many others have invested in (and some have died to protect their investment in this country). Even if the struggle does not oust the ceo and his cronies, it will at least spur debate on it nationally, educate people, and expose how little confidence most of us have in their leadership.
And that TO ME is a HUGE plus in the long run - letting the people know that we will fight to oust those who abuse power, letting them know we are on their side even if we lose on the vote count in trying to oust them, it will let them know we are on their side and want to fix things - even if we fail we win as the lies will get exposed.
bush and crew has failed on everything from the national parks to the wars - and getting all that to the forefront should be a major goal. Impeachment will do that - even if it does not pass, it shows. And people remember the shows and it's 'stars' and the dirt surrounding the stars.
We got a ton of dirt, and now we can show it nationally. Lose the vote? Well hell, if we do then the public will see even more how the pubs suck - as the public will be on our side.
Either way, we win.
